Czy ktoś z was ma doświadczenia z korzystaniem z Nextcloud przez zewnętrznego providera? Nie mam środków i czasu (tak mi się przynajmniej wydaje) do założenia własnej instancji/hostowania u siebie serwera, a chciałbym skorzystać z ichniejszych formularzy do przeprowadzenia badania pod pracę magisterską. Ktoś coś?

Totalna przesiadka z HP 800 Mini (który niedawno tutaj sprzedawałem) na nieco większe minipc asrock Deskmini X300 z procesorem AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. Obudow Asrocka jest o tyle ciekawa, że pozwala zainstalować dwa dyski NVMe (niestety, brak raida1 hw dla nvme) oraz dwa dyski 2,5". Te dwa ostatnie sloty wykorzystałem na instalację dwóch dysków SATA 2,5" 2 TB, które działają w raid1
Some of you know I have been working on non-profit funding to create an organisation ("IFTAS") to support moderators and admins. This is a non-profit entity that employs moderators and advisors to improve the tools and policies we have access to, and to present a strong voice to platform developers describing the tools and features needed to conduct the work.
Big Tech is trying to monopolize all communication and collaboration tools on the planet. This would be terrible for our future. The Open Source community needs to prevent this.
@Karlitschek fully agree, sometimes easier said than done. May I ask what you and the #Nextcloud Team uses as operating systems (mobile and desktop) ? Here I struggle the most...

@joplinapp Congrats! I moved to #Joplin after using another service for years and haven't looked back. I love that I have total control over my data by syncing to my personal #Nextcloud server.
@brainofdane@passthejoe Indeed. I have 6 Macs in my house, and 3 of them run #Linux. I really only keep #macOS on my iMac because of the outstanding #Affinity apps, on my wife’s #MacBook for the Silhouette software, and my mother’s Mac mini because she’s 82.
Ich verfolge #NextClouds Entwicklung nicht so eng, hab hier eben über die Ankündigung von Hub v4 gelesen und JUNGE, das ist schon übertrieben! Sie haben sogar schon KI-Textgeneratoren in ihr Weboffice eingebaut. O.o
Looks like #Nextcloud Social might be getting a big update soon. Nextcloud Social was my intro to the #fediverse many years ago before the Social project went stale. It's not #Mastodon on the software side, but an #ActivityPub implementation that is trying to achieve a similar goal. That means you should theoretically be able to interact with #Mastodon soon using your current #Nextcloud instance as a server.
This could be a significantly smaller barrier to entry for self-hosting in the #fediverse, especially for single user instances. I run my #nextcloud on second hand hardware out of my own home, so my TCO is largely just the electricity it takes to run an old desktop machine (and the $10/mo. I spend on off-site encrypted backups).
@benklaasen I imagine it is more to do with the renewed interest in #fediverse in general, especially among the #selfhost crowd, where #Nextcloud is also popular. They also do a lot of EU government business and EU governments have been having more #fediverse presence as well lately.

@Karlitschek UPS is also the sound what i emit when i open the new #Nextcloud Notes app for iOS. Takes ages to open and is quite uncomfortable now. I loved that you have taken over the app from cloudnotes but please bring back the "schwuppzidität" again... I love my #Nextcloud. Btw: Android app for Notes is just fine... It hopefully stays that...
