Finally got around to checking out Revolt Chat. It's basically a Free Code Discord clone. If they were going to federate with other chat servers, matrix is probably the best choice, given it's a room-orientated UX and needs a concept like Spaces. If anyone thinks that Revolt could be federated with XMPP, I'd be interested to hear some details on how that would work.

In der Tabelle sieht es so aus, als könnte man Threema von #fdroid herunterladen. Dort gibt es aber kein Threema, falls ich es nicht übersehen habe.

Got most of the Alby API integration with #PeerTube plugin done. Able to authorize a getalby lightning address, then boost within peertube from any browser or PWA, or at least so far it's worked from google mobile and silk in my testing. Only had to ask @bumi for help once!
Just finished seamless token refresh, gonna nap before tackling trying to integrate transaction webhooks with #Matrix chat for boostbot functionality.
Just got banned from the @GrapheneOS Matrix chatrooms for, squints, siding with Rossmann and/or posting the video when someone asked what he said.
They are such piece-of-shit jannies that try to squash any and all criticism.
BTW, does anyone have any recommendations for a #Matrix client other than #SchildiChat that actually gives you a message when you are banned (or blocked) instead of making the chat just disappear leaving you baffled as to wtf happened?
Is that even possible?

Installed bridge from #Matrix to #Discord, on my VPS with my Matrix instance. Now my instance has effectively better integration with Discord than with the rest of Matrix network.

No dobra, kiedyś widziałem dyskusję tu w okolicach o #matrixchat, i ogólnie klientach #matrix, wydaje mi się że brał w niej udział @emill1984 i jeszcze kilka osób, chyba @m0bi13 ...
I moje pytanie do was - szukam klienta. Najlepiej desktopowego na Linuxy/KDE lub cli (irssi come back please) w ostateczności web/selfhost.
Ale... takiego "po prostu działa i ma wszystko od początku"
@EwanCroft AFAIK re: the #ActivityPub protocol, what we can direct messaging thanks to birdsite language is really just a one-to-one post. Even if #Mastodon established #E2EE#encryption over AP, it's unlikely to federate well at this stage. Perhaps better to keep #Matrix as the #Fediverse go-to for that?

Estamos incrivelmente entusiasmados em anunciar oficialmente que a agência nacional para a digitalização do sistema de saúde na Alemanha ( gematik ) selecionou Matrix como o padrão aberto no qual basear todo o seu padrão interoperável de mensagens instantâneas - o TI-Messenger.
My local #makerspace is re-opening soon and they started using a corporate, profit driven, centralized, closed source chatroom (Slack). I want them to use an open source, federated, community driven chatroom instead (#Matrix).
Does anyone know of other Makerspaces that are already on Matrix that I can tell them about?
Having a slack channel to pull in Slack users and get them over to Matrix, where the action is at, seems like it'd be a good strategy.
