Extension Manager is the app GNOME Extensions should be. It not only lets you see already-installed extensions and disable/enable them and access their settings like GNOME Extensions does but, get this… (are you sitting down?) it even lets you browse and install new extensions. I mean, I don’t know why you’d ever want to do that but, hey, I guess this is for all the freaks out there… :)
I think I've had it with the breakage of #Gnome#extensions, so I decided to only use one to minimize the danger: "App Icons Taskbar". It has an icon to show all apps, and the fav/open apps as well.
The truth is, the vast majority of people want a launch bar. This is evident by the massive amount of downloads for Dash to #Dock and Dash to Panel specifically. The insistence of the Gnome proj to ignore users for 15 years now, and force mobile UIs is a mystery to me.

There's one thing that could let you avoid those problems with #gnome#extensions ...... Don't use gnome!! xdddddd
Sorry I couldn't help it....
I dislike how easily #Gnome#extensions break between versions. Their API must freeze and backwards compatibility must be maintained, because objectively, there isn't a single user today who is not using extensions. Because simply, the system is unusable without them.
"Browser #extensions are the rare exception that allow and encourage users to modify the apps that we use, in creative ways not intended by their original #developers."
Sometimes I go entire days without realizing how my experience using a web browser is vastly improved by various third-party tweaks. My sanity is at least partially preserved thanks to the work of all these extension developers; they are the true unsung heroes of the modern internet.

The three malicious extensions named netPlus (with 1 million installs), netSave, and netWin (each with 500,000 installs) primarily targeted users in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Ich bin fest der Meinung #Frauen machen dieses Bohei mit den (künstlichen) #Fingernägeln nur, damit sie beim #Popeln mehr Tiefgang und eine bessere Ausbeute haben.
Jetzt mal #ButterBeiDieFische. Bringt das wirklich so viel mehr? Weil, überlege gerade selber...🤔
