Hey #Boulder#Denver#Colorado folks. That smoky smell today (Oct 10) is from a prescribed burn, not a #Wildfire. I was quite concerned until I figured it out.
does anyone in denver need or want a yarn destash, with a set of metal chiaogoo interchangeables, a set of metal chiaogoo dpns, and a set of crochet hooks with clay handles for ease of grip? yarns are mostly cotton, alpaca, wool; a tiny bit of acrylic maybe for practice/learning? and it's all packed up in a bag that goes with it.
(pls reboost, i am trying to give stuff a home vs random donation to some place that'll underpay people to oversell it) #knitting#crochet#denver
Today while drawing our driveway chalk track for our hot wheels cars, we HAD to make a road that went all the way to Colorado ❤️❤️ I'm so glad he had such a good time on our trip. He hasn't stopped talking about bits and pieces of it for over a week now #vacation#Denver#friends#mountains#museums#fun#springbreak
I saw this flyer yesterday when walking around the Cheesman Park neighborhood, Denver, CO. At first… I was thinking that this woman’s intentions seem to be quite sweet. But then it occurred to me… umm… isn’t this a quite similar way that the witch lures Hansel and Gretel into her gingerbread house?? I mean… it is literally signed ‘The Crone.’ #message#found#denver
I thought I'd do another #Introduction since I've moved my primary account over to Babka.
I'm Ross. I'm 36 years old. My primary hobbies are ham radio, reading, tinkering with computers, and competitive #powerlifting.
I love my cat and my dog. I occasionally post photos of them. I live in #Colorado, somewhat near #Denver.
I work as a #GIS Analyst at a large kidney care company, optimizing nurse and doctor allocation.
I'm a graduate student, studying #Epidemiology, and hope to finish within the next couple years. I'm toying with the idea of pursuing a PhD afterwards.
Most importantly, I’m converting to #Judaism, and am meeting with my rabbi in a couple weeks to discuss the beit din!
Finished our bookings for #SC23 today. First time we attend since the pandemic. Also looking forward to #Denver , my favourite conference city so far.
Not looking forward to the price level and the tipping culture though. It was bad before and is apparently way out of control now. At least there's always convenience stores and McDonald's.
These three adorable sister #rats at the #Denver Animal Shelter aren't babies anymore, but they're not yet adults either. They're shy, but curious. I think they're warming up to me.
#StrongTowns posted this over on the ex-birdsite and I was wondering how everyone felt about these giant orange flappy boys as opposed to the prim and proper white plastic straws that have been going in around the city? #Denver
Yesterday, we had a quiet afternoon lunch in #Telluride Today, was a fun drive along US550 between #Ouray and #Silverton ; the #MillionDollarHighway. Wow, what majestic scenery with impressive mountains. Couldn’t gawk too much as no shoulders and unforgiving drop-offs. Silverton was touristy but we had a pleasant stroll up and down the main drag and got funnel cake and coffee. Sadly, our #Colorado#Vacation is drawing to a close. Now planning a scenic route back to #Denver and our flight home.
I spent 30 minutes trying to trap this little hellraiser this morning after he divebombed from an open enclosure. He is definitely a character, and despite our little incident, he was still quite friendly. I've never met such a sassy hammy.
Buddy the #hamster is looking for his forever home at the #Denver Animal Shelter.
