One of my favorite podcasts, The Bugle, making fun of the Coronation. If you like John Oliver’s style of humor you’ll like this, he was on it before he moved to the USA and got famous. With Andy Zaltzman, Tom Ballard and Mark Steel (who has his own “What the F**k is going on” podcast that is also a good one. #BritishHumor#Comedy#Podcasthttps://overcast.fm/+HitLT4GWc
Zach Zimmerman's comedy always makes me laugh so I bought his new book today. Here's an Instagram reel with his appeal to purchase this week to better the odds of future books. If you're not familiar with him, listen to some of his past vids and see if you think his humor is your cup of tea.
All I knew about this movie was:
-at some point there was a scene not for the emetophobic
-it's a long movie
I was not prepared for how biting & hilarious it was. I laughed, loudly, many times during it. It wasn't perfect, but it was damn entertaining for being 2.5 hrs long.
Since its 2019 debut, “A.B.L.S.S.” has racked up 13 Emmy nominations and three wins, while propelling the careers of cast members like Quinta Brunson, of “Abbott Elementary” fame, and Ashley Nicole Black, the “Ted Lasso” producer and writer.
Figured out how to execute a couple command-line programs from #perl, on my #linux machine, to capture #midi events and immediately issue keystrokes. Partly controlling vim with my music keyboard and my fat .vimrc full of macro things, is a bit cooler now. 😅 ( https://github.com/ology/Music/blob/master/capture-midi ) \o/
@helvick@ology#Python is literally named after a long-running sketch #comedy show that featured, among many other absurdities, an armored knight hitting people with a raw chicken, a cat-confusing service, the Spanish Inquisition (unexpectedly and repeatedly), and its (male) performers cross-dressing as screeching middle-aged housewives. https://docs.python.org/3/faq/general.html#why-is-it-called-python
