Ostatnio zmieniłem swoją aplikację do podcastów ze słabego, korporacyjnego Google Podcast na @AntennaPod. Przy Google Podcast trzymała mnie tylko synchronizacja, bo mogę słuchać podcastu na byle jakim urządzeniu i w przypadku jak telefon mi się zepsuje, to mogę z innego urządzenia korzystać i nie muszę bać się o to, które podcasty subskrybuje itp.
Bo niestety (stety, bo może kogoś to przekonuje, żeby nie korzystać z aplikacji Googla) jest słabo zrobiona, nawet nie można włączyć wyświetlania okładek podcastów, ale z ciekawości chciałem zobaczyć alternatywę, dzięki podcastowi @icd postawiłem na AntennaPod, okazał się super, nie dość że w końcu widzę okładki podcastów, to jeszcze mogę moje subskrybcię posegregować w etykietach i mam dużo opcji konfiguracji.
Tylko co z synchronizacją? Przecież mi na niej tak zależało? AntenaPod ma dwie możliwości albo dzięki https://gpodder.net, albo przy użyciu instancji NextClouda, niestety nie udało mi się założyć konta na https://gpodder.net więc dzięki działającej w mojej sieci lokalnej (Przez nie możliwość przekierowania portów na ruterze tylko w lokalnej, albo naprawdę coś źle robię i nie umiem je przekierować) własnej instancji NextClouda i zainstalowaniu jednej wtyczki synchronizuje Antenę. na razie działa to w taki sposób zobaczymy jak na dłuższą metę, się będzie sprawdzać.

Też od jakiegoś czasu testuję #AntennaPod i chyba przy nim zostanę. Ale czy aplikacja google jest słaba? Jak dla mnie robiła wszystko czego potrzebowałem. Antena robi więcej ale to są bajery no i ma minus bo o ile zatrzymać odtwarzanie guzikiem na słuchawkach mogę o tyle wznowić już nie.
Ale bez dwóch zdań to naprawdę fajna apka i mam nadzieję nie zmieni się w przeładowany gadgetami kombajn, bo przesiadka w takiej dziedzinie to nie jest łatwa sprawa.

Jasne. Każdy z nas ma inaczej. ja w takich apkach cenię jednak to, żeby głównie robiły swoje i robiły to dobrze.
Trochę jak evernote … kiedyś malutka apka do notatek z której korzystali wszyscy, a później kombajn do wszystkiego który wszystkich odstraszał.
Więc tak, podoba mi się kilka dodatkowych opcji w #AntennaPod ale mam nadzieję nigdy nie przesadzą z wodotryskami.
One of the most under-used features of Mastodon is audio. You can attach audio files to your posts, they can be in MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A or 3GP formats. They can be any length, as long as the file size is under 40 megabytes (some servers may have even higher limits).
I've attached an example audio file to this post, you should be able to play it on most interfaces and apps.

@emilymbender I hesitated to recommend #AntennaPod because I thought it didn't have groups.
Looking harder, I find that it does have is tags, so you can tag a podcast with one or more, and optionally exclude it from the general list of all podcasts.
I'm surprised! I have listened to over 1300 hours of podcast during the past 12 months, meaning on average I have listened 3.6 hours of podcast per day!
The #AntennaPod is my podcast player of choice, but I have also finished two audio series on the #Realm app.

Wie konsumiert ihr Nachrichten? Ich tue das hauptsächlich via RSS-Feed (ausgewählte Themen) und dann über Online-Nachrichten (ÖRR, Spiegel, Zeit etc.). Ich lese selektiv bzw. wenn mich das Thema interessiert. Kriegsberichterstattung überscrolle ich meist, weil sie nach meinem Empfinden zu viel Raum/Platz einnimmt - das soll nicht bedeuten, dass sie nicht wichtig ist. Nachrichten über Populisten und Personen wie Trump ignoriere ich vollständig. Reine Zeitverschwendung aus meiner Sicht. Und ihr?
Ich lese frei zugängliche, schriftliche Beiträge auch in erster Linie per #RSS via #FreshRSS. Daneben sichere ich mir Links zu interessanten Ressourcen, die ich per #Mastodon mitbekomme, für später mit @wallabag .

I'm the lead dev for @kasts, a podcast client. I started developing it to have a Linux alternative/clone for #AntennaPod on desktop and mobile Linux, and it got adopted by KDE.
@RL_Dane@kasts The "special" thing about #Kasts is that it can sync play positions and subscriptions with other clients like #AntennaPod through gpodder or gpodder-nextcloud. So you can switch between devices and pick up playback from the point you left it on the previous device.
