I work in above-ground UK rail.

Train times need to be local times because people expect catch the 7:33 to work regardless of BST. You don't want drivers to faff around with resetting watches while driving, so the whole shift gets done in the timezone it started. So yes, different trains can be in different timezones.

Could rape be a 4th possible predicate? What happened between Daniels and Trump in that hotel room didn't sound consensual. AIUI the jury don't need to believe that the predicate is proved to have happened, they just need to believe that the accused wanted to conceal it. OTOH that wasn't mentioned by the prosecution, so I don't know if the jury can consider it.

Texas Republicans have announced their new platform and in it is a resolution to deny any majority vote winner from taking office unless they also win a majority of State Counties.

This, of course, is an impossibility for any Democrat and they know it. Say nothing that some of the counties in Texas literally have less than 100 people in them.

How do you ensure changing state demographics are never a worry? Change the rules & eliminate a true Democracy.

People misunderstand the military. Estonia could build the most formidable trench line against Russia and it would never get used. People would say it was an expensive boondoggle even if Russia marched on Latvia. The truth is, the most successful militaries are the ones you don’t have to use because the enemy is afraid.

People also misunderstand negotiation. They think you do it when you’re desperate. You negotiate when you hold all the cards. You negotiate in the coastal hotel when it’s your battle ship in the harbour with its guns pointed at their room.

Regardless of which method of peace you want to find, and if you are scared of nuclear war or not, there is only one way forward. We need to arm Ukraine to the teeth and take the gloves off.
