Some of my friends that are convicted felons are 100% innocent of what they were accused and convicted of. Some of my friends that are convicted felons are guilty, and absolutely did what they were accused of. I don't make fun of people for being convicted felons, and I don't ostracize them. Instead, I don't let bad people around me. My definition of bad focuses on the choices that a person made in the past, and the choices that they make now. Some of the worst people, will never be felons.

Been having a lot of fun revisiting the Bon Jovi catalog while watching their new documentary.

This album was always a favorite. It came out at the height of grunge taking off. They stayed true to themselves, and where other 80s bands slipped away forever, they sold 8mm albums and solidified they weren't going anywhere but the top of the charts. Again.

Texas Republicans have announced their new platform and in it is a resolution to deny any majority vote winner from taking office unless they also win a majority of State Counties.

This, of course, is an impossibility for any Democrat and they know it. Say nothing that some of the counties in Texas literally have less than 100 people in them.

How do you ensure changing state demographics are never a worry? Change the rules & eliminate a true Democracy.

For no particular reason, I had The Rooster Bar by John Grisham on my TBR and started reading it this week. I don't normally go for "airport books," but this one is a ton of fun. Now I remember why I read over a dozen of Grisham's books in the 90s and early 2000s. It's been a while since I picked him up... almost a couple decades, but I'm glad I did again.

FTR, The Rooster Bar has nothing to do with chickens. 😉
