Senator #Menendez appears to be the first sitting member of Congress charged with operating as a foreign agent in violation of #FARA, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and allowing him to remain in the Senate creates a massive national security risk.

As of December 2023, the Federal Election Commission has received 59 complaints alleging that Donald Trump or his committees violated the Federal Election Campaign Act. In 29 of those cases, nonpartisan staff in the FEC’s Office of General Counsel recommended the FEC investigate Trump.

Yet not once has a #Republican #FEC commissioner voted to approve any such investigation or enforcement of the law against Trump, a new CREW analysis found.

It's endlessly amazing -- or maybe not, since it keeps happening -- that Big Journalism treats Trump like their assignment editor and even copy editor.

The NY Times, for example, headlines its story today about the Trump criminal trial in NY "a case related to hush money paid to a porn star."

No, it's about (among other things) falsifying financial records to keep the public in the dark before the 2016 election.

This woman was a substantial part of Trump's plot to overturn a free and fair election; she hosted Sidney Powell on national TV, and reposted videos of the same tripe on Xitter.

That is the literal opposite of journalism.

    The largest caucus of House Republicans released a plan that cuts Social Security spending by $1.5 trillion.

    These are the same Republicans pushing to extend the Trump tax cuts — which would add $3.5 trillion to the deficit.

    None of this is really about addressing the debt.

    Yunhong International aims to “capitalize on growing opportunities created by consumer/lifestyle businesses that have their primary operations in Asia”, it said in a recent SEC filing.

    I guess the point of interest I'm actually pointing to is more a technical borderline that has quietly been overstepped without reaction from the State of California's DOT; Caltrans has no response to the borderline of deadly force being crossed, and seems to want to defer to this as a problems of #parks and #greenspace.

    Statistically, I can project deaths will occur over time with those moving masses being driven in those limited dimension spaces. It's just math.
