I've been slowly potting up my plants on a table in the garage, but ran out of pots this morning.

As I was debating whether to wait for the thrift shop to open, my 87-year-old neighbor called to me across the street, "I've got some pots for you."

Talk about good timing!

@danielthedaring Whee! Sounds like good birding on the boardwalk today. I assume the rain didn't come?

I went looking for a Black-billed Cuckoo and Clay-colored Sparrow this morning, but no luck. I did get 5 ticks (grateful to the person I met on the trail who saw the ticks on my socks and pants, removed and killed them).

I shared some of my extra tarragon and chives plants with two neighbors. The tarragon seeds germinated well. And I needed to split the chives.

Both neighbors asked me how to use/cook with them, since they hadn't used them in their cooking. So I shared some of my recipes as well.
