    And there it is, the announcement from WordPress.com about the tool for users to opt out from having their content gathered by third party platforms.

    With the exception for AI crawlers WordPress.com partners with.

    "We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from WordPress.com and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner."

    I’m holding off making snap decisions until I learn more, but if this comes to fruition as reported, I may have to migrate blogging software and quite probably hosts for the first time in over two decades.
