I had enough of AI results in searches, so just spent a couple of hours getting searxng running in docker, and I have to say it's refreshing seeing search looking like it used to, especially with no tracking 😄
It does use multiple engines to get the actual searches, need to look at how to customize that.
Anyhow, all of my desktop browser's now use it by default & I've even got the Android phone using it as a default now.
@peter yup, mine does the battery thing sometimes. Nice little machine. Better keyboard than the Z88.
The Atari spares guy in California may still have some of the very last PCMCIA SRAM cards that work with them. They were meant for the Apple Newton, too.

@acb It doesn't look like it other than it's a HAT so goes on top, so would be compatible with most other cases, as Pimoroni's ones go underneath the PI - the only issue I have with the 2 PI's I have the Pimoroni base on that I can't fit them in a case.
Well the #raspberryPi M.2 hat is installed & it's booting from a 1Tb NVMe drive.
It's a lot less fiddly than the base units I have & there's clearance so it doesn't affect the active cooler.
That said it's a tight fit for the official case & the screws it comes with are too short for the case so you need longer screws to secure it completely.
Also the top is very tight & without those screws it's easy to accidentally remove the hat by accident when powered up if it's used.
@piofthings@aaisp it's a sim card which the phone thinks is a normal connection but the other end is VoIP so you can connect your mobile as an extension like I have, or to a different non mobile number.
@peter I did the opposite in Cambridge a few years ago.
There was a local campaign (this is Cambridge, after all) to get street names properly punctuated. Conventional wisdom was that the punctuation was omitted at the request of the emergency services, but we checked with them again and they said that they didn't care any more.
The local rag joined in, with a series of pictures of wrong and/or inconsistent street name signs. But they missed one I knew about, where the street had three different signs at various places, along the lines of (this wasn't the actual name) "Pirates Walk", "Pirate's Walk" and "Pirates' Walk". So I was able to tease them that the situation was worse than they'd discovered! - it's always useful for councillors to keep up good relations with the local journos.
I changed the policy to allow punctuation. (OK, to be honest, after being lent on somewhat by the council leader, who thought it was more of a big deal than I did - left to myself I might not have bothered to do this as an emergency decision and I might have left it until the next review.)
