I'm reading the code and seeing what it is supposed to do, but I haven't found the bug. I think I'd need to run it in a debugger to figure it out. (Which I'll do if you don't tell me.). Does it have something to do with the colon in the first part of the string?

The Plasma guys work really hard on Plasma. You can tell. And they're all great to talk to and deal with. I've not seen one person there who isn't at least professional about what they do. Most are astonishingly friendly and helpful.

But Plasma just isn't stable enough for me. I'm sad about it, and I'm glad I tried again, but it's just not stable.

That is so weird. I have been using the Manjaro Plasma distribution for years with no problems. Maybe your demands are more strenuous than mine. Good luck finding something that works for you.

The right kept their eye on the Supreme Court prize for 50 years. They waited that long to get a majority that would do whatever they wanted. Unfortunately, it paid off.

At least some of the left doesn’t seem to be nearly as focused on the Supreme Court as the right was. These are lifetime appointments and there is no quick fix. We have to wait it out and keep our eye on the prize, like the right did.

@TonyStark Can congress pass a law setting the size of the Supreme Court? The Constitution does not set a size, so it seems that legislation could be passed to limit the size. It would take both houses and the presidency to get it done.

There is a legitimate case for expansion. The appellate districts expanded from 9 to 13, and at one time there was one SCOTUS justice for each district. So, 13 is probably justifiable.

I think legislating the size is a good idea. My guess is the GOP will try it based on my argument next time they have a chance. They would love a 10-3 majority. So, there is some urgency to do something.
