Well, see, there's the problem. Conservative/alt-reich/trash are all for heavy gun ownership, and routinely make runs on guns and ammo when a 'libural' (aka near-right for rest of the world) gets elected.
And they have no problem posturing and following through with historical trends of white nationalists.
And given many latte liberal types are against weaponry, means they're up for easy pickings. I mean, hell, there's already 'acceptable levels' of trans attacks.
When this civil war comes, it's not going to be 'North vs South', but rather 'City vs Rural'. And it will make the first one look tame in comparison.
@Miriamm
It's the "don't care about men, they're expendable" posturing. Whereas there should be 0 out of 0 are homeless should be the ideal.
I've known for a long time nobody give a shit about men. When I was homeless, there were benefits for women, higher positions on section 8 housing, etc.
Men? You deserve where you are. Dig your own self out of it.
Just going to say it: 2013 was the last good Internet. Full of arrow to the knee, chonky boi, overly attached girlfriend, do it for the vine, electro house, rage comics, bad luck brian, one does not simply walk into Mordor, taylor swift goat, etc. There has been no Culture since.
@SwiftOnSecurity
And here, I'm yearning for some good 'ol Goatse "hello.jpg".
Even if it was a shock site, it was an old web shock site.
Now, you get gamified LLM ai hellscape click bait articles that forever scroll. And our attention itself is gamified and enshittified. I'm just done with the current internet.
@saxnot
What do you expect from someone who ripped off "The Books of Magic" from Neal Gaiman? All the way down to the 12 year old with a lightning bolt scar, an owl familiar, and the train ride to the magic school.
For MLK day here in the US, I'm going to be doing some equity #mapping work with #OpenStreetMap#OpenTripPlanner#QGIS and mabe some #Nodejs and posting some updates throughout the day in this thread. If that's your jam, follow along.
Otherwise, you may want to mute me for 24 hours, because this may get noisy. 🧵
I think is worse, is that 46 doesn't have any crosswalks OR sidewalks.
And also, Kinser Pike north only has 1 block of sidewalk, which starts at 46 and ends at Kroger turnoff. Which means people walking are relegated to walking on people's yards or on the road.
If the isochrone was redone to ignore no-sidewalk paths, Kroger would be an island.
And you all still havent fixed the critical 10.9.1 "cant install any more patches" error from back in October? This is blocking all 10.9.1->11.1/2 upgrades.
Most reasonable companies would have a manual method to revert a poisoned patch, and an automated patch within a week or 2. But damn, not Esri.
(Then again, its par for the course when I called over DKIM being busted, and your frontline said to "eliminate DMARC from our mail gateways"... Like, WTF?)
That would show the massive rifts in capitalism as a economic strategy. We cant do that, cause ccccccommmmunnnnisssmmmmm.
Its the same way we blame homeless people for their homelessness - in a capitalist economy, its the individual at fault, always. To admit fault at the system level would be to say that capitalism is at fault... and we cant say that.
Its all rugged individualism and the individual's fault. Always.
Watched a Jarvis Johnson vid about this TikTok couple making fun of homeless people in LA and like... I will find you and piss on your plants.
The fact that there is even homeless people in LA is just abject failure, the proximity to unknowable and unthinkable amounts of wealth should immediately clue you into how capitalism as a system is broken, but also... Yeah, of course the homeless person wants more money than a nickle, he'll still be homeless tomorrow bruh.
