with radiation done, now starts the fun of healing my nuclear boob's skin and the skin of the adjacent armpit. they look like they were blasted by an atomic bomb.

and apparently am enough of an ashy fucker that my skin gets so dry it hurts to raise my arm. i have to wash, wet & moisturize at least every 3-4 hours so it won't hurt.

bought not even a week ago a tub of moisturizing healing ointment and am already 1/3 of the way. am an IRL Bill Burr joke 🙄

@KatM yes! i had no idea Cerave had a healing ointment. no lanolin, almost all glycerin. i've used the moisturizer for decades, so using the ointment on top of that. it's been great.

Like many other technologists, I gave my time and expertise for free to because the content was licensed CC-BY-SA - meaning that it was a public good. It brought me joy to help people figure out why their code wasn't working, or assist with a bug.

Now that a deal has been struck with to scrape all the questions and answers in Stack Overflow, to train models, like , without attribution to authors (as required under the CC-BY-SA license under which Stack Overflow content is licensed), to be sold back to us (the SA clause requires derivative works to be shared under the same license), I have issued a Data Deletion request to Stack Overflow to disassociate my username from my Stack Overflow username, and am closing my account, just like I did with Reddit, Inc.

In a single move, Stack Overflow has alienated its community - which is also its main source of competitive advantage, in exchange for token lucre.

STACKOVERFLOW should be sued under labor laws for forcing people to be indentured to them as a commodity they get to traffic at will.

StackOverflow is treating the mods trying to delete or change their work as property. this is indentured servitude, if not slavery, on a digital level and a far more massive & pervasive scale than Southern cotton plantations or prisons.

INDENTURED SERVITUDE is supposed to be illegal in the United States. why would it not be in the digital realm?
