What democracy?
Democracy requires a government that listens to the governed and acts for their greater good. Our present Corporate Oligarch owned 3 branches of Government certainly are not working for the good of any but the top 10% and trickle-down is a class war myth.
Oh, I always vote. Have since I was first able, in 1972.
I used to VBNMW until Bill Clinton sold the party to the Corporate Oligarchs and Obama's "Yes we can" turned into "No we can't."
Since then I've voted Green in the General always for Sanders in the DNC Primaries.
The fuckery in the DNC primaries got us Trump.
Trying to install HRC in office got us Trump.
Both parties ran the most unpopular politicians in the country.
You can continue to vote against your own good.

The stark economic inequality between workers living in poverty and CEOs earning millions of dollar is one of the grossest injustices and worst fundamental flaws of the capitalist system. We need to dismantle the hierarchical structures of capitalism and the state, and create a classless, stateless society where wealth and resources are shared communally.
You seem to forget private ownership in your calculations. Family and worker owned restaurants still exist and are successful without the corporate ownership profit drain.
I believe in building a broad, inclusive Anarchist movement, and that requires Anarchist to have a positive public image. Anarchist presenting themselves positively to people can help dispel misconceptions about Anarchism, making it more appealing to a wider audience. By avoiding negativity, Anarchist would aim to attract potential allies who may share common goals despite ideological differences, fostering a more unified and effective movement for social change. #anarchism#inclusive#positive

Again, Greece shows that social organization does not scale and falls in conflict. They even had a form of direct democracy. It didn’t save them.
The biggest problem is that your community’s shared values will conflict with another community’s shared values, and they might not be amiable to conflict resolution.
The police exaggerate the need for increased funding. The funds they receive are used primarily to maintain control rather than address crime. The focus on policing and surveillance disproportionately targets marginalized communities, perpetuating systemic oppression. Skepticism regarding the sincerity of law enforcement's stated objectives is something we should all have.
On certain weekends like this one, I have the radio on for most hours of the day on Saturday, then some on Sunday. It sort of bothers me how NPR runs the same shows during the Day on Saturday, then again At Night, and then Again During the Day on Sunday, etc.
I've heard livewire twice and wait-wait for the 3rd time by now.
