You want me to buy an EV?

Make one that:
does not connect to the Internet in any way whatsoever,
has no end-user license attached,
does not drive or park itself,
has no 'infotainment', just an audio system that sounds decent,
has a suite of actual gauges and no LCD screen,
costs $25K or less (easy when you delete the above crap),
has the same range as my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan,
and looks as cool as a 1971 Datsun 240Z.

Until then, well, I'll be in my van.

This kind of bullshit should be illegal. Spotify is effectively remotely bricking every single "Car Thing" device it ever sold, telling users to factory reset and "recycle" them. The devices were initially made publicly available only two years ago in Feb 2022, then discontinued production in July 2022.

We've got this cheap egg cooker that plays the loudest, most terrifying alarm you've ever heard when it's done cooking. My wife requested that I make it "less aggressive" so I hacked it into the most gentle egg cooker of ALL TIME

Video showing a ~3mm sheet of metal being cut, under water, by a wire EDM tool fixed to a 3D printer. The metal piece is then embedded in a 3D print, paused mid print, then printed over. The part is then used to replace a fully 3D printed part on the machine itself, in truly rep-rap style.
