Askip la séries des 5000 va arriver assez vite chez NVIDIA. J’ai pas besoin d’une upgrade immédiate mais je lurk depuis un bail. Vous pensez qu’il vaut mieux attendre la nouvelle génération ?

Je connais pas tes besoin et ton matos actuel mais :
NVIDIA ne fournit plus que le haut du marcher donc tu aura mieux pour moins cher chez Intel/AMD si tu mets ~300€

En principe c'est quand même mieux d'attendre car les nouvelles sorties baisse mécaniquement le prix des modèles précédents.

    Hi mastodon, je suis une personne a risque et je voudrais porter des masque plus efficace que les masques chirurgicaux.

    Problème : j'ai des poumons en mauvaise état et pousser de l'air a travers un FFP2 c'est pas quelque chose de possible pour moi, j'ai mal au bout de 15-30 minutes.

    2ème problème : Je suis turbo pauvre donc je peux pas me permettre facilement d'investir au dela des 10€ mensuel que je met dans des masques chirugicaux.

    Les boots sont savoureux.

    @primalanomaly @aral Twitter is actively PAYING Nazi because of their political viewpoint. Leaving Twitter isn't hard, there is load of alternatives that are safer and far less toxic.

    📁 C'est pas toujours facile d'envoyer un gros paquet de fichiers à quelqu'un, surtout quand on a pas son propre serveur ou son propre cloud. C'est encore plus rare un service qui supporte jusqu'à 50 Go et qui ne fait pas chier son monde. Donc en voici un qui marche bien, opéré par Infomaniak.
    Caractéristiques : 50 Go max, conservé jusqu'à 30 jours. Possibilité d'expiration, de protection par mot de passe, de limiter le nombre de téléchargements.

    a web UI bring a lot of problems, accessibility being one of the first major hurdle, orca still have trouble reading some webpage.

    Brave is not a web browser you should recommend, the CEO of the for-profit that run brave is biggoted to no ends ( Homophobia, covid denialism, Election denial, etc.. )
    Also brave tool and AI is very skewed in favor of Alt-right talking point.

    That of mobile phones hardware and firmware is a very mature industry that still has many competitors.

    What it means is that everybody must keep their prices as low as possible if they want somebody to buy the phones that mount their components. To the point that, for low-end Android phones, chip and firmware manufacturers have basically no profit margins.

    So what do you do when you have nearly no profit margins and no way out of it? Simple: you create profit margins out of thin air by pre-installing spyware on the firmware itself. The phone comes out of the box with the spyware already installed.

    There's apparently a big market down there with dozens of available plugins. From gathering data from your SMS texts, to sniffing Facebook sessions, to accessing your location data, to shoveling custom ads, up to selling "device time" to criminals for all kind of purposes (just like you can rent an AWS node on the fly for a few hours, criminals can also rent access to somebody's phones for slots of up to 5 minutes to do whatever they want with it).

    If a phone (or a smartwatch, or a smart TV) looks too cheap to be true, it's because it is. Devices like the Fairphone or Librem may be a bit more expensive at parity of features, but you're paying the right not to have surveillance pre-installed on those devices.

    My internet is down so I can't check with wireshark but Qualcomm policy didn't change and this is at a firmware level ( presumably to use A-GPS ).

    Maybe blocking the "izatcloud.net" domain in the host file could prevent that but it may break stuff and ROM dév are not legally able to do that.

    Lutris on Flatpak can now install and run other Flatpaks! This will be a huge improvement in runner compatibility on the Steam Deck!! Also an improvement on build times and overall package size!

    And to those who tried to dissuade us from enabling this, you didn't do nothing other than making Flatpak look bad.

    (This is pre-release for now, stable release coming soon)
