Back in my young days we don't need apps, portals, all the digital bullshit. We don't have ads, popups, targeting, profiling etc. We have instead pure joy and happiness by buying or sharing new music. We also meet friends, some new cool people. We have lots of fun. Damn I miss those times. 😊😍👍
I'm feeling cozy today. My mom knitted that sweater for herself back in the days when this style was "in fashion" for the "first" time. (There is no first time in fashion, I think.) I'm wearing skinny jeans with that big chunky sweater because I'm too small to wear those wide leg highwaisted jeans trending now. Need to balance my proportions a bit.
When I stepped into the second room of the old train Depot museum at Uptop, Colorado, this vintage pitcher and basin in the window caught my attention. I especially liked that I could angle the composition to get the Chapel of the Wayside as the outside background. 2021

Sadly, I haven't had the pleasure of seeing this classic machine do its magic, but I love the design and the mark it left not only on music but also on interior design.
Pretty cool. Sam Battle (aka Look Mum No Computer, of the Furby Organ fame) released a free instrument together with Spitfire Audio using sounds from GameBoy Megamachine, Sega MegaDrive Synth, and a 1,000-oscillator Megadrone.
If you're in NYC on June 10, be sure to stop by the Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park to get a free ride in one of the vintage buses from the last 90 years of transit history.
