Life has had me very busy lately! Finally catching up on all of the gardening and weeding the heat wave kept us from. It's still hot...92 today, but it beats 99!
I love working with sacred symbolism. The Tree Of Life is important in many mythological, religious and philosophical traditions. This one has mandalas arranged in a Chakra configuration.
#GoodMorning friends. I have a #spiritual practice that I perform everytime I leave my house. A few years ago I picked up these #statues for my front yard. Every time I walk by them I give each one a little tap on the head or say hello. I'm not sure why I started it, but I've kept it going for a pretty long time. There are a few times I've forgot, sure, but I'm pretty good at it now. One reminds me to be #mindful, and the other reminds me to take it slow and #easy. Here they are!

I am rather fond of these two sets. The colors came out really well. I decided to offer a choice of "sidekicks" for the set, because some people might not be comfortable with the female figurine. But everybody know the "wise old owl" motif - and wisdom is something we all need to manifest, lol.
These are prayer / manifesting ritual items for finding or enhancing your parnasah, which is your career or how you make a living.
Another exterior photograph of the Baha'i House of Worship for North America in Wilmette, Illinois. On most of the nine sides are quotes from Bahaullah. He was a prophet from 19th century Iran who, according to Baha'is, is the manifestation of God for the current age. This particular quote - "The Earth is but one Country - and Mankind its Citizens" - is a particularly important one for Baha'is.
"Look at a flower. Is it not beautiful? Does it not prove to you the indisputable presence of a Great Intelligence which is expressing Itself as beauty, form and color, and above all, JOY?" Flowers have taught me so much. ❤️
The interior dome of the Baha'i House of Worship for North America in Wilmette, Illinois. I am a bit ashamed that I snuck the photo (no cameras aloud) but I assure you, I did it most respectfully. At the center of the dome is a Baha'i symbol called the "Greatest Name," which translates as "O Thou Glory of Glories."
Some may see a stone park bench
But I see a stone altar
hallowed by leaves a-falling —
The sacrament of autumn
handed down
by the wise old trees
who raise their boughs
as priestly arms
They bow in peaceful prayer
as we the faithful
take the colorful communion
and heal
