Despite yesterday's chaos I still managed to get to the butcher. There's a local butcher that's literally across the street from my new co-op grocery store.
They had some yummy chorizo that I'mma use in gumbo later this week. And I grabbed a packet of breakfast sausage patties (because I need to stop swinging by starbies to get a sammich b4 work).
Tried one this morning. HOLY SHIT that's so good. And the price is like, the same as the Johnsonville ones. So, yay?
Back from garden centre.
Winds blew me over, into laurel bushes, on my way to backyard. I didn't fall to the ground, the bush caught me. I'm not injured. I get knocked over in high winds often & have to walk with safety help(when someone is available) to avoid falling to the ground & getting injured.
The sun emerged for an hour.
I went to get stakes & also picked up a pre-order of chicken feed for a neighbour who has a sprained ankle & unable to drive for awhile.

A dangerous thing to see when walking by the craft beer shop on my way home. Tried a taste of Dovetail's new pils - I think I might have to go try it more at their brewery around the corner.
"Even as industry sales were slow in 2023, membership in the American Booksellers Assn. continued its years-long revival. It now stands at 2,433, more than 200 over the previous year and nearly double since 2016. About 190 additional stores are in the process of opening over the next two years, according to the ABA."

30 different types of tomatoes to choose from to grow this coming gardening season.
WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY GODDAMN TOMATO SEEDS?
Anyway, of these... which ones are your favorite, or which would you like to try?
My favorites are the Sungold's and the Super Sweet 100s.
My goal is to make and sell things at farmers markets, and my little farm stand (that I didn't put up at all in 2023, whoops!).
Tomatoes are not all I grow... but I will never not be surprised at how many different types of tomatoes I have when I take my seed stock at years end.
Merry Christmas to all friends and followers who celebrate🎄
May you have serenity within whether alone or with others.
Remember you are never alone
Feel the Light of the Universe shining on you💚

Hmm, I guess this is making fun of Kanata (suburb of Ottawa) and their bylaws? (I have heard of Kanata bylaws about colours of doors on homes, garages.) What's the story about front porches?
I chose the LYS in Kanata to talk about today because they are open Sunday.
There is another one in Ottawa that is on my list but thay're not open Sunday. I'll give it to you today as well:
