2024 marks the 45th anniversary of sci-fi horror masterpiece Alien, which was released May 25, 1979.
The first time I saw it I was pretty young, it was on TV and censored. We actually had it recorded on a VHS from TV, which is something my family did a lot. I only saw the full uncensored version years later! 😂

I watched #Atlas last night on #Netflix recommendation. i.e. J-Lo battles robots in a mech suit
I enjoyed it. Well, I enjoyed it while I also programmed on my second monitor. What I can say is that the plot is quite thin; the contrivances are quite contrived.
But what I saw was a more interesting film of childhood trauma and how it drives us as adults. The acting was critiqued on imdb, but I thought it was subtle, damaged, and the best part of the movie's themes.
No i misja czytania klasyków fantastyki naukowej wciąż jest kultywowana 🙂 jestem w trakcie "Obcy w Obcym Kraju" Roberta A. Heinleina . Przyjemnie się czyta bo ma dosyć lekki klimat. Czasami przywodzi mi na myśl te stare filmy sci-fi z lat najdawniejszych z różnymi archaicznymi konceptami. Wracam do lektury bo zostało mi jeszcze dużo do zgrokowania 😁
This morning I made a last-minute decision to change the name of a new robot character in Frozen Heck, the fourth book in the Starship Teapot series. I really don't know why I ever called her anything else.
Und heute endlich mal geschafft, den #Film#endersgame zu schauen. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass der doch so tiefgründig ist. Wirft doch einige Fragen auf. Schade, dass es keine Fortsetzung geben wird. Kann ich aber jedem empfehlen.
