@vga256 didn't have a decent midi device when this game was released, only a soundblaster, as many people. I'll be sure to test it with my mt32-pi now!
Did you used to make computer games using STOS or AMOS?
I tried but I was too young to afford the resources I needed and ended up using copies pirated from friends. Even so it was a much better experience than the other development environments I was using at the time.
@selzero I have not published anything that I wrote in STOS, but it helped me understand the framebuffer structure and, from there, it led me toward learning 68000 assembly.
@dirkdierickx As somebody who has owned a copy of Mega Man Xtreme 2 for Game Boy Color since the early 2000s, it is surreal to see this bubble up to the surface all these years later
I was familiar with the other Zook games, but it's kind of interesting to see how much sprite-work was lifted for this version. Cool stuff, thanks for sharing
@rootcompute
There's also art stolen from the first Mega Man Xtreme. I spotted an edit of the cutscene art for Geemel, as well as an edit of Zain that added a cowboy hat. (If you don't know these two, they're original bosses who only appeared in Xtreme 1) @dirkdierickx

Did some work on the title screen for the Steam version of Fire and Rescue.
I'm quite fond of having the Skyboy Games logo fade to one on the TV screen.
