Girocard Zahlungen mit Karten von Sparkassen gingen ein paar Stunden nicht, offizieller Grund:
"Hintergrund war, dass beim Einsatz eines internen Verschlüsselungsverfahrens Störungen aufgetreten sind, die dazu geführt haben, dass Bezahlkarten am Terminal einzelner Händler abgewiesen wurden."
Da denke ich doch gleich mal an ein abgelaufenes Zertifikat, irgendwo auf der Strecke zwischen Karte und IT der Sparkassen. #Oops Mal schauen, ob da noch mehr an Information kommt.

Had a plane in #Blender that used a geometry node setup to spawn planes along its face. The density was like... 2000. Where I goofed was trying to apply this same node setup to a model with like 50,000 faces.

That #WebEx call between #German airforce officers where they discussed confidential stuff and somehow #Russia recorded the whole thing? Well. This is #NotTheOnion. It seems they were able to simply dial in to the call as a normal participant and no-one really noticed. #Oops.

For many years, DSL/Cable routers by German company AVM, sold under the Fritz!Box brand, did some internal dns tweaking so that when you typed in http://fritz.box it would lead you to the config page of the router in your network. Now, years later, there actually is a .box TLD (Top Level Domain) and AVM forgot to register the fritz.box domain. Someone else did. And activated Certificate Pinning (HSTS). #Oops
UPDATE 2024-01-27: Their dns entries are flaky ATM, sometimes there, mostly not.

I was hit by that because my SIP client was silently sitting in the background not being able to connect. Not sire how many incoming phone calls were missed.
Fixed with local DNS settings, but the fact this was even possible is mindblowing.
Again, this is always true: its DNS, if something broke.
