Who can resist a beautiful rose?
In this watercolor painting Perfume of a rose I wanted to capture the beauty of a peachy orange rose blossom and the scent of flowers, fresh fruits and summer feeling. Enjoy!
My best friend's nickname for me in high school was Crow because I used to love imitating their caw. I still call to #crows if there's nobody around. I hope they understand.
In this pastel painting a cabbage white butterfly (Pieris brassicae) encounters beautiful purple lavender flowers in a summer garden. These white butterflies often visit my lavender. I couldn't resist capturing them in this picture with pastels. The picture is painted in an extraordinary vertical panorama format.
I think of bears as my spirit animal. I rarely see them in the area I moved to a few years ago but I used to see them often on my hikes where I used to live.
My newest painting - Whimsical bird on a wire acrylic painting.
The inspiration for this painting was a robin that lives in our garden and sat fluffed up next to our bird feeder on a frosty winter's day, enjoying the warming rays of the morning sun.
The path is clear
From the dark into the light
Stay on the narrow road
Walking through the dense forest of the Florida wetlands. Came across this this. The lines of the boardwalk draw you out of the dense darkness into the warm light.
This #beaver family was enjoying a tasty meal of reeds when I happened upon them. The #family that eats together, stays together...or so the saying goes. All my images are available as cards too, just in case you're looking for a Mother's Day card.
