noise in the wall. There’s no motor in the wall. Just water pipes I think. Not shared wall. I went outside and yes, the noise is definitely coming from the wall. Any guesses?

No video. Just audio recorded on my phone of a mysterious noise in my wall.

Five stars: Murder with Ganache by Lucy Burdette and Laura Jennings (Narrator) (2014) is the fourth book in the Key West Food Critic mystery series. Hayley's cat destroying most of the cupcakes for Connie's wedding is the first in a string of bad events that leads to Connie canceling her wedding.

4.75/5 @thestorygraph for "The Book Forger" by Joseph Hone. Dr Hone has delivered a near-flawless template of how to write academic history brought to life for laypeople. A truly gripping story, one that was hard to put down.

anyone who's read Deborah Crombie's Kindcaid and James series: I loved the first 7, but 8 & 9 both went VERY heavy on the past timeline device AND blended it with the present via various forms of psychic/paranormal woo-woo. I'm very much not a fan of either, so both together is just is ugh. Are subsequent books in the series similar? #AmReading #Mystery @bookstodon

@bookstodon My #review of Scorched Grace (Sister Holiday Mystery #1) by Margot Douaihy has just gone live! The language and voice of the narrator sucked me in after the first three paragraphs and did NOT let go until the very end. An absolute delight, with a few very small nitpicks.

Found this (possibly graffiti) on a recently uncovered WW2 concrete tank trap on Roseisle beach, north east Scotland. Looks like ‘ZOID DAAT…’ goes on for a few lines, but the rest is indecipherable. Anyone got any ideas? #ww2 #Roseisle #moray #mystery

I'm not one for "New Year's resolutions", but I am one for overly ambitious projects.

For 2023, Project365 is "One New Game Per Day".

Given that I have 634 unplayed games in my Steam account and {mumble} unredeemed bundle Steam keys, there's a reason my unplayed collection is tagged "Pile of Shame".

I'll pin this to my profile, and give a brief summary here each day (or x, if I miss x days due to work or stuff).

I'll play 15-30 minutes of (at least) one new game I've never played before (or played less than 15 minutes of). I'll give every game at least 15 minutes, even if I hate every minute of it.

I'm also open to suggestions; if you reply to this thread with a game, I'll schedule it, or tell you what I thought of it.

One of the things that's come up is that I have a bunch of games that I've played once, and not touched again.

Unplayed games: #NewPlay
Trying a game again: #RePlay
Going live on Twitch: #GrissGames

I'll hashtag these with #Project365ONG so you can mute it if you're not interested.

Total NewPlays: 485

Game: Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island

Platform: Steam
Released: Nov 23, 2018
Installed: Dec 9, 2023
Unplayed: 107d (3m16d)
Playtime: 39m

Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island is a first-person (first-frog?) mystery adventure game.

It's very cute, quite amusing, and... short. It was all over and done, with 100% achievements, in under 40 minutes. The music is lovely, and I ended the game with a smile on my face.

There are two other Frog Detective games (so far?), and I have Frog Detective 2 in my library, ready to play.

Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island is:

4: Good
