Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Britain have teamed up to join the genocide case over Myanmar's treatment of the Muslim Rohingya minority before the UN's top court in The Hague.
They fled for their lives from #Myanmar to #Bangladesh, but they’re not safe there, plagued by criminal gangs and armed groups the Bangladesh authorities refuse to deal with.

On May 11th, 2024, at around 05:00 in the morning, the Junta's armed forces have committed a massacre against the innocent civilians who were taking refuge at a Buddhist monastery in Lethoketaw Village, Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region. Thirty-two civilians have died from the incident. The age of the deceased victims ranged from 15 to 88 years. The preparators were Junta's joint task force formed from No. 13 Infantry Battalion of No. 33 Light Infantry Division, No. 909 Battlefield Engineering Battalion, No. 929 Support and Communication Battalion and “Pyu Saw Htee” militia, the estimated number of troops is around 70.
