I know tomorrow is rough for some people. For those who endured or still endure #abuse and for those who's #mother has passed on, for those of us who have wanted #children but never gotten to parent them, so much care to each of you.
I buy tens of thousands of dollars of items from you annually. Not once in 5 yrs have I sent anything to my #mother - who passed away 5 yrs ago - nor have I sent anything to my MiL - who passed away last year.
If that alone doesn't indicate a massive change in shopping habits that MIGHT indicate it's tacky to advertise "Mother's Day" gifts to me, then your "big data" isn't so big. Also your #AI sucks!🤬

I have a woman's hands.
But they are not thin, elegant hands
They're stubby, thick, puffy.
My fingers are short.
They not 'womanly', but they are a woman's hands.
I knew a woman with hands like mine.
Puffier than mine. Darker than mine.
I watched her run them over piano keys, I saw them hold a cello bow
I observed them during the mundanity of doing laundry
They became a magical curative when they were run through my hair.
I held them countless times.
And they withered. As did she.
I was holding them when she died.
I'm a #mother. I have one kiddo, 17, engineering college bound. One dog, 2 cats, and a husband. #Married 26 years. To the same dude. I only speak to my kid brother as the rest of my family decided the insurrection wasn't a deal breaker.
I am the oldest of 4, and have 3 younger brothers. I grew up in Lubbock, TX, literally in the middle of a cotton field. Rattlesnakes and tarantulas were our toys (not joking).
I guess it might be time to update the #introduction post-- I've been here since April, so can't really say 'trying this out' anymore! I use several other platforms also, but definitely like the tone here.. more thoughts in comments on this post..
