I wanted to try out that color wheel thing I've been seeing. I considered Edward Elric but decided to go back to my roots. So here's my girl Harley in her OG (best) costume!
I dunno if I'll actually continue with the other colors. I guess we'll see.
I did Toph for green! Unfortunately, I'm not entirely happy with how this one turned out. I did not know what I was doing with this pose 😅
I didn't want to just copy an existing illustration, so I looked up some Chu Gar Southern Praying Mantis poses since I knew that's what her fighting style is based on. However, my reference photo was at a different angle.
Anyway, I'll just leave it as is because I don't wanna work on it anymkre. I'll just cover her right hand with my next character 😅
I did Wolverine for yellow! It's probably been almost 10 years since I last drew him, but he used to be one of my favorite characters to draw.
I also had to rotate the wheel a bit. I didn't think far ahead enough to draw Harley looking to the left, so now she didn't fit the composition I wanted. So instead of just flipping her (making her colors wrong), I just rotated the whole thing so she'd be in the middle.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of #JurassicPark, I am going to post something I drew a couple of years ago.
