If anyone is able to export an HDR-enabled image from the latest version of #Lightroom and view its HDR output on #macOS or #iOS, please let me know!
Based on my own testing, it seems that macOS Sonoma 14.0 and iOS 17.0.3 do not currently display HDR-enabled JPEGs, AVIFs or DNGs. Hopefully that changes soon.
Well, well, well! Non-Classic version of Adobe Lightroom is finally allowing you to browse and edit files locally instead of forcing files to be synced to the cloud!
DP Review: Adobe MAX 2023: Here's what Lightroom users need to know
the #lightroom preview thing is so god damn sluggish since the last update ... back until cursor moves, only a few tiles for a few moments, this time it just remained grey for a while ... quality software right there.
The #Map in #NeoFinder 8.5 has a new context menu with some very helpful options, like you can use it to quickly move GeoTags, or show locations in OpenStreetMap and Google Maps, among other things.
what bugs me is that #lightroom preview and export often get moiré for my lowlight images. of course thats because i try to brighten things up alot ... however these effects are never visible while developing the images. its only after the fact that i get greeted by this. and no, i dont sharpen on export and rarely sharpen more than 50 #photography
#NeoFinder8 now catalogs the exact second a photo was taken, not just hour and minute along with the date.
It turned out we have a lot of photographers here who use #NeoFinder to catalog portraits and photos of sports events, and in such cases, a lot more than a single photo can be made in any minute.
There you have it. Seconds in the EXIF Capture Date!
