Watermark with an image! Until now, we had the option to have a text as a visual watermark, but now there can also be images!

Patch in your company logo, or whatever to your exported photos!

Watermark with an image!

You could add a visual textual watermark to your converted and exported images and photos in before, but now you can also add a watermark image as well!

Q: Could you advise whether to format a new external drive as APFS or Mac OS Extended?

Interesting question indeed.

What format would you use?

Yes, can and metadata of photo files!
And you can add ratings, keywords, descriptions and all, too.
And convert these files to other formats.
And check every pixel in the Light Table.
And build beautiful web galleries with them…

Enjoy!

The Display Filter in 8.6 has been massively expanded, and yes, you can now hide folders!

Set up multiple options at once, like, for example, have it show all landscape photos with a GPS GeoTag, keywords, but no Person data yet…

If you have a network installation with multiple users on different Macs and PCs, make sure to use at least version 8.5.2, which synchronizes the global keywords list from the Controlled Vocabulary much better, and is able to detect changes made to the list by other NeoFinder for Mac or for Windows instances.

"I have just abandoned Digikam (which I chose to replace Apple Photos). Both fail badly with large collections of 10,000+ photos. Incidentally, NeoFinder is much faster and more reliable than Digikam and much more versatile than Apple Photos.
[NeoFinder] is the best solution for almost everything of professional complexity." James W., Ontario, Canada

Q: 1) I use to NeoFinder to catalog a petabyte of video storage that lives on 3 servers.
2) Using NeoFinder I can search for files with similar names. For Example “TARDIS”. Those files are on various mounts.
3) Can I use NeoFinder to copy all those files to a new location. (An external drive.)

A: Actually, yes, you can, either drag the files from NeoFinder to the desired destination folder, or use the "Save Copy as..." command in the Item menu.

Then sit back and relax. ;-)

"I just wanted to thank you as a user of . I’ve been a video editor for 30+ years now, and I have stacks of hard drives and DVD backups of projects dating back to the 90s. With your software I have been able to search through literally millions of files in seconds to find out where some ancient asset is hiding. It’s saved me hours and saved clients a lot of headache or heartache.
It’s a really well thought out piece of software, reliable, easy to use, and powerful. You’ve probably helped me spend another 100 hours with my family that would have been spent in front of a monitor searching drives!" Rick D., Tacoma, WA

We are happy to hear such praise!
