The thing I don’t get in the whole “what happens to all the old lightning cables” discourse is how everyone seems to be ignoring that ever since it was introduced, lightning‘s connector has been so electrically/metallically fragile that for vast number of people, especially those living in humid climates, lightning cables are consumables that only last a few weeks or, at best, months anyway.
Found out that my old iPod Nano still works, so I have that going for me. Sadly, my disproportionately large hands make it super challenging to use. #iPod#iPodNano#OldTech
I dropped my iPod so hard the SD card popped out internally. So I had to pull out the iFixit kit at work and reseat it. This is why I carry tools with me everywhere. I’ve fixed my glasses and more right on the spot. Expect the best and prepare for the worst!
Ripping more music from Apple Music to my iPod. Not sure of the legality of it but it’s technically still an Apple product. So… Imma go with that but I ain’t a lawyer.
Had to downgrade the iPod I modified to the 128GB SD card from the 256GB, Had weird issues occasionally skipping and not playing long DJ mixes longer than 7 minutes. Came down to it not liking the SD card. Evo Select SD cards from Samsung didn't work well. Went back to the Samsung Evo and it worked magically again like it did before. Weird how they are finnicky with some SD cards. #Righttorepair#Apple#ipod#ipodclassic
So old and still alive. I love my #iPod 5th generation from 2005! Originally it was the 30GB version. I upgraded to the 60GB version by replacing the micro hard drive and a new back cover. 😍
