With the good tax news that my assessment for tax purposes fell by 2.2%, comes bad condo association news. On top of the current 7-year Special Assessment, we will have a 1-year Special Assessment to cover expenses to repave the parking lot. My part is $45/mo for 12 months! I am one very, very unhappy condo owner. It is very hard to do long range planning with stuff like this.
