We have been told for generations that lowering taxes on the rich helps the economy, and that "increased entitlements" are a burden the taxpayer cannot afford.

In a non-scientific survey, with a tiny sample of self-selected participants in a left-leaning fediverse (are you still reading?), 65% of respondents still support paying CEOs at least 4x the median salary in a company, and nearly 1/3 support 40x.
Contrary to accusations from right-wing media, this small group of progressives at least isn't opposed to business or to paying CEOs considerably more than regular employees. However …
… not a single participant supported paying CEOs 400x, which is the actual number according to this article.
So it's not really a binary question of pro-/anti-corporation or pro-/anti-CEO compensation, but with this group, at least, it's a more-nuanced question about moderation.
Sure, a qualified and skilled boss should be paid more. Maybe a lot more. But not that much more.

After years as Europe’s problem child, growth in Greece is rocketing. It made one of the strongest recoveries from the pandemic, with GDP expanding 8.4% in 2021 and 5.9% last year.
