in 2 years Russia has murdered 2000 children
and in less than a year

Israel has murdered over 20,000.

both are terrible,

but the scale in Gaza exceeds what H!tler did

in the same time frame in 1939-1940....

If you are supporting an Autism group, like Autism Speaks, that uses the puzzle pieces, please be aware, these organizations are actually anti Autistic person. they are the equivalent of conversion therapy for autism!

If you truly want to support autistic persons, look for groups who are led by people with autism....

you might start with Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN)

I used to believe in a "well-regulated capitalism", but in the past year or two, i have moved a fair piece tot he left of Marx, my only problem is I dont yet have a good replacement.

Capitalism is built on:

stolen land,

stolen resources,

stolen labor,

stolen lives,

it is only a system of theft.

Remember:

Israel isnt special.

What they are doing is only what the west, has done and continues to do around the world to this day. Its just more euro-centric genocide, ethnic cleansing, land theft, rape and murder, etc.

So, please continue to call them out, but dont, for a moment think you can stand in The USA, The UK, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, etc. and hold the moral high ground.

I was taught from an early age to hold any object I was buying away from my body while shopping, lest I be accused of stealing. No under the arm holding of things, arms totally in front or to the side. I keep the receipt in my hand until I’m well out of the store. Any store. There are many different “talks” we have with our kids, not just the police talk.

Funny how the typical right wing projection ended up with lies about Hamas' sexual attacks on Oct 7 ended up in the NYT.
The "liberal bastion" once again, proves to be a shill for whatever propaganda the highest bidder wants, (Remember the Weapons of Mass Destruction scam the NYT promoted?)

The truth is the Israeli Defense/Occupation Forces have long used sexual assault against Palestinians as a matter of routine, so it was the first thing they thought of to try to make Hamas look worse.

Due to Alabama’s recent even more barbaric than usual court ruling, I see the “cute” phrase “Talibama”.
Inferring that this barbarism makes Alabama the equivalent of the Taliban.
I get what the users of the phrase are trying to say, but I think its important to remember, throughout history, while they did not invent it, Christianity has long exhibited more barbarism than any other religion.

When are we gonna stop with the "Stranger Danger" crap? over 90% of the time, it friends, family, or friends of the family that harm, rape, kidnap and murder kids. Teach your kids to watch out for these folks, not some stranger. Of course, on occasion a horrible incident of a stranger stealing or harming our children does happen, but focusing on that leaves parents and children MORE vulnerable to the real larger threats!

Because with unemployment in GA at 3.4%
since 1980, violent crime is down about 50% and total crime is down by 75%. Yet instead of inviting people who are brave and willing to risk everything to be a part of our great country and vibrant economy, people like Kemp spread lies and fear, and spend tax dollars to prevent these amazing people from coming and making states like Georgia better.

I can see the problems with where we are:

Climate change and yet full speed into carbon world.

Poverty and oppression around the globe, yet we maintain the status quo and limit those who seek relief in the west.

Unending injustice towards marginalized people in western countries as well as in former colonies, many of whom are still being grossly exploited by the west.

Injustice towards women, girls, and queer folks.

Economic and social injustice throughout western societies.

I'm not a fan of her music, but then I am a 64 year old white man, I am not her target audience, and most of those who are, do love her.

I respect that she has overcome a lot of crap, turned her talent, and yes, it is talent, into a billion dollars, and instead of wanting to build rockets to nowhere, she gives tons of money to those who have helped her, as well as to those who will never be able to help her.

In the last 4 presidential elections, even though Hillary won the majority and still lost the white house, turnout has been key.

I believe, given the extreme negative numbers of both of the likely nominees, the determining factor will not be a large turnout of unexpected voters (especially voters under 30), but the "couch vote".

Trump will not gain Biden Voters, and Biden will not gain Trump voters, but both will shed some voters to the stay home crowd.
