Image of the day is Curls, an in-camera #doubleexposure on #film. With models who have never posed before, there is often a period of tension at the start of a shoot, and usually I can see that tension in the images at the start of the roll. But invariably by frame 10, the models relax, everyone is joking and laughing, and I get these lovely smiles (when the models like to smile, obviously). This shot of Nolwenn is one of these, I think. I love the strand of hair in front of her face, it really balances the treetop effect at the back of her. #believeinfilm#blackandwhite#nsfw#nudity#experimental
In 2022 I had an incredible trip up to #Yukon#Canada. I spent two weeks hiking and camping around the Northern Artic, getting rained on, hailed on, snowed on, and of course had a few moments of sun too.
While there, I made a collection of #monochrome images to capture the cloud patterns on the peaks. These are some favorites.
Selkirk Trestle Bridge. Shot from waters below.
It's a well used bicycle & pedestrian bridge that spans across the #GorgeWaterway - from #VicWest to #BurnsideGorge.

This image is part of my Photosynthesis exhibition opening tomorrow in Nantes, at La Lame Vernie Coffee in Trentemoult. It was shot during COVID semi-lockdown in Hong Kong, when both myself and Nelly (the model) had recently been through our stints of quarantine. That rough common experience brought us together creatively for a shoot I will always remember.
If you are in the Nantes / Pays de Loire area, I'd be very grateful for any amplification of the exhibition details.

one thing pretty cool about sweden is that their parliament is so central one of stockholm's busiest pedestrian zones goes directly through it. that building with the gate there? that's the swedish parliament. I think there's some nice symbolism there.
