I’m visiting #Halifax, #novascotia
and I was so excited to find my painted #dolphin on permanent summer display.
Called Sea Life Celebration, it celebrates many species found
in our Atlantic waters.
It was auctioned awhile ago to aid Easter Seals.
Someone must have been donated to the Halifax waterfront
(The fibreglass dolphin was created by Easter Seals and I was commissioned to paint it. )
I love #publicart on display and think we need more of it.
Carving of HMS Agamemnon on a Clydebank tenement at 421 Dumbarton Road.
Built by William Beardmore and Company at the Dalmuir Naval Construction Works, HMS Agamemnon was the largest warship built on the Clyde at the time it was launched in 1906.
Knowledge anf Inspiration by Walter Pritchard. Created in the 1950s, this sculpture can be found on a wall above University Gardens in the west end of Glasgow. I must have been along that road many times, but never really noticed how lovely this sculpture is until yesterday.
I've been here many times, including yesterday when I took this, but it's only just now, looking at it, that I noticed the soldiers are lined up to get a cuppa from a nice lady.
An art installation at Taipei101 for Lunar New Year.
(I loved and pushed the red in the sculpture itself, reduced colors in the background. I withhold from doing too much coloring apart from this, so it's not really a "cinematic" edit I would say...)

Her work is amazing; the detail, colours, shades and love that has gone into this piece is obvious.
The subject’s feminine beauty, accentuated by her rich facial contouring, gorgeous eyes (lashes, shaped brows, shadow and eye colour), full lips and shades of black and indigo flowing hair is just something else.
