I just created posts with content warnings and then put hashtags in the body of the post. It occurred to me that the hashtags may not work, or at least the post won’t show up for people who follow that hashtag. Is that correct? When I googled this, I was confused with the answers I found. Can someone please explain how this works? Thank you!
Is it a thing that #mastodon limits how far back you can scroll in your “home” feed? I keep trying to scroll to posts from earlier than 4h ago and it won’t let me. Is this normal or a glitch?

Hi everyone! I'm a composer & audio developer. I also like fountain pens, mechanical keyboards, software-defined radio, leftist politics & learning new things.
My music tends toward the glitchy, noisy, microtonal side of things, and I like to use Max/MSP and incorporate audio samples from my software-defined radio hobby. You can find my music at my site, SoundCloud & YouTube:
Here's one of my compositions I'm particularly proud of. It's for trumpet, trombone, percussion, and MIDI keyboard. There are cheesy Yamaha DX7 synth sounds, microtonal brass, and glitchy, distorted noise.
We are Noe 🇪🇸 and Olive 🇫🇷. We have been living in Sydney for almost a decade when we decided it was time to see what Australia had to offer. We quit our jobs and packed our car to start the so-called Big Lap, a drive around the country.
We will be using this account to post updates of our journey as we discover things on our way.
