Robins are one of my favorite birds. I have painted a few portraits of them in watercolor or acrylic paint over the last few years.
This summer I painted an eagle for the first time in my life - I really enjoyed playing with watercolor to create an abstracted background and body as well as a more realistic head of the bird.
