Drumroll.....We made it through the storm and only got the outer bands. A lot of wind and rain, but nothing like Ian last year! Now to pray for those still in her path!

Another #gigstory. In the late 70s we played a place in Phillipsburg pretty regularly.
The bartender there (can't recall his name) pulled us aside one night and told us he was opening a new club in White House NJ and he'd like us to have a regular slot there, playing a 4 night run once a month.
Best part was that he was doubling our pay compared to the old place.
So, we started doing it. The money was great and the atmosphere was popping--always a huge party.
I'm thinking about getting my third #tattoo .
Something small, maybe the Blue Öyster Cult Symbol (i would love have that in my hand, but i'm working in a place where it's not okay).

A recent deep dive into #slystone ’s post-68 discography, including his wild Stone Flower #productions, has got me itching to rent a cheap little furnished #studio somewhere for a weekend and roll #tape with just a #drummachine as drummer and my brain as a foggy sort of #band. #Keys, #samples and #echoes. Maybe a muttered vocal.
But such places probably no longer exist. One can #dream!
