I keep driving past bus stops in the UK with posters advertising "it's too good to be true - Babylon 5 - this February" but so far so my searching has failed to find any details or specifics. Help me out Fediverse.
Ahead of our coverage of season two, hosts Luke Winch and Baz Greenland explore the rise of the Shadows in the second year of #Babylon5 and their influence on the show.
Are you rewatching #Babylon5 or watching it for the first time? Feel free to use my episode bingo sheet. I created it with my friends while we were watching B5 for the first time. Most of the squares should be self-explanatory.
I'm trying to watch Babylon 5 on Tubi. I'd never watched it but with Harlan Ellison on staff & so many nerds I know having watched it, I thought it'd be good.
Sigh. This has been a tough row so far. Overacted, cheesy sets & costume design, terrible computer models... the writing is up for judgment.
I'll give it 10 episodes before I switch back to Deep Space Nine.
Old School as fuck.
Hat zwar Null komme Nix an Extras, aber des is mir Wurscht. Kann meine 20 cm Regalplatz also verschenken und gegen ca 7 cm austauschen.
It’s taken 30 years, but I will finally admit that the special effects in #Babylon5 look dated.
Compared to CGI on television today.
They still smoke anything I’ve seen on television from the 90s, and maybe even the 2000s. (The SFX on #BSG looked good, but they didn’t really do a lot with them. B5 really pushed their use of their CGI, especially for the era.)
