LRT: RE story deviating from the original plan: I'm honestly glad the Laurel Takashima = control thing didn't pan out because I would not have been able to handle it :P The Anna Sheridan storyline playing out with Catherine Sakai would have been devastating but entirely appropriate. Not in the blog post but similarly, Ivanova getting the Lyta AND the Lochley storyline with the telepath colony and having to do THAT after everything she's been through. This show would have destroyed me. #Babylon5
@Mrfunkedude I disagree. I think the #StarWars franchise is in its heyday. I also point to #Firefly and #Babylon5 as examples of really strong positive Fandoms that supported the franchises rather than hurting them
It burns a little and you have to recharge it every few hours and the quality is 1990s vhs tape... but other than that it's a miracle of 23rd century technology!
I thought I'd misremembered the season 3 finale on my Babylon 5 marathon, then realised I'd missed a disc because of the way they are stacked in the box set.
Now on final disc, which means I still hve that that amazing cliffhanger finale to come, the White Star burning from rapid re-entry, coming down on Z'Ha'dum like a flaming sword.
