Am back from my short holiday trip. It was great! The weather was way better than the forecast predicted and I was even able to swim in the ocean a couple of times. I'm still sleepy from the long trip back home though.
I only took a couple of pictures, this grooming seagull is one of them - he was a very good photo model 😄
So, what do you do when the screw that attaches from your tripod to your tripod head drops into the tripod?
If you guessed 'curse and wonder if there is a god', that would have been my first reaction.
My second reaction was to find some rocks I could prop my camera up on to take the shot I was wanting.
I was at Lake Padden scouting the location for my #perseidsmeteorshower shoot I was going to do. So I was mostly here looking for angles and wasn't too disappointed.
I ended up not using this spot for my meteor shower shoot because I kept seeing meteors at a different angle. I ended up going to the end of the dock and shooting from there.
New week! For me that means to FINALLY having a couple of vacation days at the ocean - from Wednesday to Sunday, very much looking forward to that. I think I will still post a picture or two during that time, but just in case: have an awesome week, everyone 😀

Yesterday I went swimming in the local lake again after a long time, felt so good - I was lucky, was there for 30 minutes, did my rounds, saw the big dark clouds...couldn't resist buying some french fries and JUST as I was on my way back to the tram, it started to rain 😅

Hello waves
Have been a bit absent the last couple of days. But I can report: the weather is improving! 🤗 Still a bit too cold for my taste for "summer", but the sun comes out of her hiding place from time to time.
And because I was a bit "complaining" about the weather lately: yesterday it was actually quite nice. I went to my local botanical garden and the sun suddenly came out of hiding 😊 This felt so good!
Yep, it's still raining here. Yep, I don't like it. Yep, I was seconds away from posting another rainy picture...but then I thought naaww...let's post a nice, sunshine-y one and dream away to a place in paradise 😀
