You know what I want?

A line of really sexy and supportive yoga gear for fat folx.

Stuff like Fabletics or Fenty. Both have some larger sizes, mostly in bras. But not a lot in like, cute crop hoodies, or pants.

You could check out Superfit Hero, maybe? I think they are pretty cotton-centric.I have a pair of shorts from them that are really great, not quite squat-proof but fantastic in all other ways.

My poor stoned lil doggie.

He's okay, very drugged. The bandage has to stay on for a week, holding his ear tight. Then stitches in 3 weeks.

One sweet thing about this spring that I have noticed is that there are a lot more bees, butterflies, and birds around, taking advantage of my unmowed yard and the flowering plants I have been gradually adding. Last year, it seemed that there were fewer insects and birds than normal, so this may be just a respite from what's to come, but I'm glad for the pollinator surge anyway. Maybe my tiny efforts will help some.

Some days the 'tism just fucking gets ya man.

Between finding the tire flat, then running a meeting for an hour with a board member present (apparently it went well!), then having to get my tire fixed like right away...

So much masking...

Got home and spent like 2 hrs in bed watching instagram reels.

I really want to love this more than I am as it works up.

I'm really hoping like, more progress and blocking works miracles.

It's the same yarn as the pattern, but idk, it looks SO messy and blaaaah to me. Maybe I'm just too close to it. And maybe the yarn will really look great after blocking.

Hoping it will be nice to wear this autumn.

I suspect that some of it is just looking at the thick garter stitch at the bottom and only having a little bit of cable in comparison, a proportion thing.

Yeah, take it out for a blocking spin and see what happens. Looking at the pattern, though, I do think you might just be at that in-between spot where you can't really tell what's happening.

My understanding through reading (and not particularly through practice) is that an odd number of plies gives an energetic yarn, which is what makes cables pop.

Is there any advantage in this set-up to having a high-powered fan right up in the window rather than a few meters back?

I would gladly give up a/c. As it is, we have to use it sometimes when the humidity in the house gets very bad, but I try to use it as little as possible.

I think I know enough tech folks on here to get some kind of answer to this: I am on the board of a non-profit theater co. and we want to possibly change our website hosting from its current platform to something like Wordpress. People have done preliminary research on WP and Kualo, but is there anything else they should be considering? It needs to be easy enough to use that we don't need an IT expert to change dates/post pictures, etc. Easy to use, good security, not too $$$.

I am very glad to be in my new house, but I am not sure I ever appreciated how much my former neighbors did NOT use power tools.

I can't even figure out what it is. A chainsaw? Weed eater? Someone drilling directly into my front lobe with a jackhammer?
