I think I know enough tech folks on here to get some kind of answer to this: I am on the board of a non-profit theater co. and we want to possibly change our website hosting from its current platform to something like Wordpress. People have done preliminary research on WP and Kualo, but is there anything else they should be considering? It needs to be easy enough to use that we don't need an IT expert to change dates/post pictures, etc. Easy to use, good security, not too $$$.

@westerling @mxtthxw i regularly slag off wordpress and its leadership, but honestly, it's a good fit for a non-techie shop, if you like what you see in your research. one can't overestimate the value of being on something that everyone uses — because whatever snag you hit, the answer is out there

@westerling The non-profit that I work at uses Squarespace for our webpage.

Very easy to use in my experience!

OK, that's another pretty major player that might appeal to them.

@westerling What I like about it is that it's very drag and drop. And it doesn't have the wordpress update issue from what I understand.
