Trump complaining that his criminal case was "rigged" was entirely predictable, but still insulting.

He had the smoothest, fairest ride through the criminal justice system that the State of NY has to offer. He didn't get perp-walked in handcuffs trying to hide his face under a jacket. He didn't spend 3 days in a Central Booking holding cell with his paperwork lost. He had a team of experienced, high-priced lawyers from the start.

Want to know what rigged looks like? Ask the Central Park Five.

NYC 3:0 Trump. His own city has decided he's a loser. The E Jean Carroll case, the fraud case, the hush money case. "If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere" – but he's not making it there, not as a businessman, not as a cavalier, not as a mob guy. For NYC he's just a little, shabby loser.

Idk if that's gonna get through to a wider public outside NYC but that's the state of play atm. NY has weighed him in the balance and found him wanting. #Trump

@Peternimmo idk if I'm a theology nerd and idk how relevant it is to "christianity" but for getting an appreciation of the bible, i'd recommend robert alter's commentated translation of genesis. Fascinating. And have them read some other ancient stuff too. By and large I think the characters in the bible are much more complex & rounded than, for example, most of the figures in greek myths. Flawed heroes! It's like they're halfway to inventing the modern novel!

@sphericalcyclist also, meinen Geschmack trifft sie nicht, aber man muss bei Shimano anerkennen, dass sie damals, während sie die Spitze der technologischen Entwicklung besetzt haben, auch beim Design recht einfallsfreudig unterwegs waren 🙂

Und dazu muss niemand rechts sein. Vielen Menschen ist das überhaupt nicht bewusst. Aber wir denken sehr häufig andere Perspektiven überhaupt nicht mit. Weder in der Politik, noch in den Redaktionen. Weil die dort vorhandenen Lebenswelten halt vornehmlich ebenfalls weiß sind.

Gleichzeitig leben wir aber in einer Gesellschaft, die das schon lange nicht mehr ist. Die sich weiterentwickelt hat. Nur unsere Wahrnehmung hat sich eben in vielen Fällen nicht weiterentwickelt.

@mo keine Ahnung. Bei mir (Android) ist der erste Schritt ein Tap auf das blau-weisse "Routenplaner"-Button (1. Bild). Dann kommt die Suchmaske, an deren unterem Rand ich die Verkehrsmittel wählen kann (2. Bild). Im Ergebnis-Screen kann ich immer noch das Verkehrsmittel wechseln (3. Bild). Schaut's bei dir anders aus? 🤔

Einfach auf der Straße #radeln – ist das eigentlich erlaubt? 🤔 Nicht immer! Wenn Du das blaue Schild mit einem weißen #Fahrrad siehst, bedeutet das: Du MUSST den #Radweg benutzen. Gleichzeitig ist für andere Verkehrsteilnehmer, außer Elektrokleinstfahrzeuge, dieser Weg ohne gesonderte Freigabe tabu.

#Achtung: Laut Bußgeldkatalog musst Du mit 20 bis 35 Euro Bußgeld rechnen, wenn Du einen Radweg nicht benutzt, obwohl dies vorgeschrieben ist. ❌
