@Jyoti Yeah, growing up in America, it's been disgusting to see the overt suspicion of Arabs and disrespect for Arabic culture. Americans have no concept of how much they have benefited from it, and it really feels like this is some kind of proxy race war.

Note: I'm using #Sharkey right now and Misskey forks are already overrepresented, so that's why it's not included.

@ada Ah, I see. I keep hearing that but I might have missed some news (or maybe it's precisely because there hasn't been Firefish news).

There's a little note under the list about why I didn't include #Sharkey. I'm currently using it and I feel like I've explored most of its features here on my primary account, but thanks for the recommendation. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Yeah, my current instance used to be on Firefish before migrating to Sharkey, so I might just skip it if Firefish doesn't have anything unique to offer compared to Iceshrimp. Chatting is the main feature I never tried, so if Iceshrimp still has that I'm probably good.

I went down a rabbit hole of "What if I did this? How could I make it a reality?"

Started off how can I sell squishmallows in The Autistic Innovator. Did a reseller app with their official distributor.

Then how can I create original plushies. Figured that out and working on it.

That became how can I manufacture custom chew necklaces. Figured that out.

Now I'm looking into renting warehouse space because I am so tired of dropshipping. It's such a headache. I want to own my inventory.

I really miss being able to use whatever chat client I feel like (and even use multiple chat networks at the same time).

I'm glad we still have #XMPP and #Matrix, especially with all the cool bridges Matrix supports. However, it's really hard to meet anyone other than FOSS enthusiasts there. :\ Getting friends and family to use Element also feels virtually impossible.
