Many of you may know that I have a very dear to me (nearly) 18 year old cat.

She’s got some medical issues at her age but we do everything we can to keep her happy.

It appears that her diabetes is suddenly unmanageable… which scares me a bit if I’m honest. The only times this has ever happened in the past was after a surgery/anesthesia and an infection.

We’re taking her to be seen by our new vet on Saturday. I really really hope they’ll be able to help.

My spouse asked the pharmacy if she could get some Paxlovid since she's at risk of heart issues, but apparently the government updated the list of people who can get the medication and now it's almost impossible to get.

It's so fucking dumb! We have a medication that can help fight off Covid and lessen the lasting effects and the gov is preventing people from getting it!

My spouse just tested positive for Covid, so I probably will soon as well.

We barely leave the house because of my chronic health issues, and when we have to (grocery, pharmacy, vet) we always wear N95 masks.

I fucking hate our society and how governments & people decided to ignore this pandemic. I was able to avoid getting infected for 3 years. Now I just need to pray I don't get complications on top of my current health issues.

Just played ''Gone Home'' this week and I really enjoyed it!

I was expecting a heavy horror game from the premise, but it's not as intense as I expected, most of the horror comes from the ever-growing tension.

It's very story-focused, heartbreakingly emotional and, to my surprise, extremely queer.

Highly recommend if you're into story-driven indie games and ''walking simulators''!
