Well, that fucking sucks. I just went into my o3 meeting with the boss and was told that I don't have a job anymore. If anybody is looking for an experienced #vue / #node / #php dev in the #Milwaukee area (or remote), let me know.

I might need to step #ChatGPT through this a little bit more. Hmm.

I am trying to walk a full marathon (26.2mi), today. I'm going to use this thread for accountability. #exercise #walking #fitness

is waiting to find out what's wrong with the pup

joe, to motorcycles

Do I buy an adventure bike because I would love to ride from Prudhoe Bay to Ushuaia some day or do I just buy something that would be great for commuting to work and save $10k? I really want my next to be something like an Africa Twin but I don't want to look like a poser who is riding way more motorcycle than he needs.

I just enabled The Big Relay (https://bigrelay.social/) on Toot Works :toot_works_girl: as a test.

joe, to CSS

I am trying to write a #CSS rule that is based upon the value of a URL. I thought for a hot second that I could use ...

@document regexp() {}

... but it looks like it was dropped from CSS3 and isn't really supported beyond FireFox (https://caniuse.com/?search=%40document).

I came up with https://codepen.io/steinbring/pen/mdobPWP/cb59a989fa854d53576639d3676779a9 / https://codepen.io/steinbring/pen/wvOwopq/99f2112c6dbaea8622e36d41ed39f83c but I hate using #JavaScript for styling.

Anyone have a better idea for applying a style for /en-it/blah that is different than /en-es/blah?

I just saw on the smart display in my kitchen that the AQI is up to 152 in #Milwaukee

I stopped by my local Royal Enfield dealer to throw a leg over the Scram 411.

I really want this bike. It sure is heavy compared to my Navi, though.

I went out and got myself a #COVID booster, this morning. They didn't bother asking for or updating my CDC card, this time.

I wanted to go somewhere to put some more steps on my step counter while being nearby if they needed me for Osa, so I went to The Corners of #Brookfield. It seems like they are going for a "This is the place for you if you want to be in a walkable community but you want the only possible way to get there to be by car" kind of vibe.

They have a large grocery store, a bunch of restaurants, a movie theater, a comedy club, and one of the largest underground car parks that I've seen in a while.

I followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg588OVYTiw to try to get Llama 2 working locally with Llama.cpp but no luck. 😒

Does anyone know how to fix it? I do have llama-2-13b-chat.ggmlv3.q4_0.bin downloaded into the root of the app.

I cut up $30 worth of steak and threw it in the dehydrator for 5 hours.

(This is more of an experiment than anything.)

I got stuck at a light for 15min this morning because it wouldn't recognize my bike as being there. I wonder if I can rig something up with the to simulate a cross-walk button push. :blobcatthink:

This thing is as ridiculous as it was last year.

I am unsure how to fix "Unable to change power state from D3hot to DO, device inaccessible". I would have expected that installing desktop would have gotten easier over the years.

I absolutely refuse to drive a car to the office. I own one and pay a lot of cash to maintain it but my company charges $175 per month for employee parking and the act of driving a car to the office grates on me to the point where I would rather f***ing quit. Since April, they have mandated that people who aren't managers who live less than an hour from the office commute to the office. First, I took the bus and once I got a motorcycle, I took that. I'm not sure what I'm going to do this winter.

joe, to random

They should put a meter in the back of these things.
