It is entirely up to you; every set of eyes that reads this.
Every post, every community you participate within, every upvote, every positive interaction is helping this place grow. All we need to do is make a place people want to visit; add value to their and our own lives.
I moderate !3dprinting and a couple of others that are not active. I’m at 179 posts and 1485+1 comments. I’m here a few times at least on most days.
I try and post in as many other communities as I can and be as positive an influence as I can manage.
The best thing you can do is upvote and participate in absolutely every little niche you can possibly participate in. I’m a jack of all trades master of none, but I’ll even go outside of my comfort zone to try and support everything I can. I don’t just take from this place, I want to build it, to grow with it, to be a part of it. I am the fediverse. You are the fediverse. It is what you make of it.
I posted this when there were less than 5k active users on Lemmy and .world was a couple of weeks old: lemmy.world/post/36032
I released my first game on Steam and got rid of impostor syndrome!
My first game Mushy Score is out on Steam! I have been creating games since I was a child but never felt like a real game dev. Now I finally have a game that I can show to other people.
Mushy Score is a 2D Roguelike where you fight against endless waves of enemies. Collect points and try to get a high score! I am super exited for the release !
Judging by what would have happened if they had directly posted marketing, and now at 6 hours, this might be next level guerilla, like google-class marketing. And as far as isolation execution, probably top notch. Indiscernible conclusively as to whether it is dumb luck or next level strategic. With a indie dev in question, I lean towards the ladder and tip my hat.
#3dprinting@3dprinting@3dprinting does anyone have experience with the manta m8p motherboard and canbus? I'm pulling my hair out trying to work out what's going on with mine and could really use a little help
Can you edit that title? Those tags are super useless. I know it is because of a cross platform post from mastodon, but that title implementation is so bad I would not call this a functional feature.
That’s about as useful as watching byte code for terminal output only uglier. The tags need to be in a hidden field somewhere, not displayed to Lemmy users. There is no title or useful information about the post displayed on the community feed. It has the aesthetics of a garbage dump with less usefulness. I think “works” is giving this bug/rough-alpha far more credit than it deserves my my opinion.
#3DPrinting@3dprinting#OMG it held together! Tree support delaminated about 25% in, so I glued it back on and then later had to manually patch it with tissue and glue due to the deformities it incurred whilst it was not properly attached to the bed. I knew I had only a slim chance of pulling it off, but here we are! #success!
Repost with your title as plain text if you want. I am removing this one. It is not intended to discourage you from posting or anything personal. You should have seen this mess and edited it asap though.
